Class 48: Film Peer Assessment, More Infographics

Today we will do the following:

Watch the 2 video projects submitted:

The class will discuss these videos from the perspective of effective storytelling and filmmaking technique.

 

Infographic work has been challenging. So, we will regroup and do the following:

  • I will demonstrate how to access and use the Opposing Viewpoints database (available here). Please note different access based on location.
  • Specifically, I will demonstrate how to access statistical data using Opposing Viewpoints
  • Students will pick a topic of interest from the Opposing Viewpoints database, research the topic, and find five separate pieces of information, including 2-3 at least with a statistical element, and summarize each source in a blog post that is due tomorrow evening by 8 PM. Call the post “Opposing Viewpoints Research”.
